If Super Eagles and Fulham of England midfielder, Alex Iwobi, remains humble in success, much of the thanks should go to his mentor, master dribbler JJ Okocha.
Iwobi says Okocha, who is his uncle, has continued to offer him great advice on professionalism and other values.
In an interview with the ‘Is this seat taken podcast’, hedescribed Okocha as his biggest idol.
He notes: “In the sports? Forever my uncle, Jay Jay Okocha. I have to shout him out all the time. On and off the field.” he said.
“I used to go watch his matches and training sessions. He his the one that really taught me how to express myself.
“And off the pitch he is always advising me on how to be professional, manage my money, how to move, stay humble and grounded. So he will always be my idol” added the former Arsenal player.”
