Like the proverbial Oliver Twist asking for more, actress and producer, Funke Akindele, is wooing film lovers to help her take her ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ to N2bn earning at cinemas.
The film has already garnered record N1.8bn but she is swiftly telling them not all is for her.
According to her, some other parties, including cinema owners, are waiting to take their percentages.
She cajols on IG: “I beg no be only me get the 1.8billion o!!! Cinema go collect, tax go collect, distributor go collect!!!! Maybe when I get to 2Bnaira, I fit settle. So pls go see #eljthemovie in cinemas and take us to 2billion naira. Thank you”
