Governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara, former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, and Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Gani Adams, are among the personalities billed to grace the sixth yearly lecture of Freedom Online, which is scheduled to take place in Lagos on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
The lecture with the theme, “Nigeria’s Socio-political challenges: Whose Fault, Leaders or the Led?” has the Rivers State Governor as the special guest speaker and the former Ogun governor as the special keynote speaker.
According to information made available to The PUNCH, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olabode George, will chair the event, and former Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade (retd.), will be the special guest of honour.
Also listed as special guests are former Director General, NIMASA, Dakuku Peterside, and Executive Secretary, Centre for Policy and Development Studies, Ilepa, Ogun State, Prof Akinyemi Onigbinde.
