Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has linked the record progress he has made on social media to the passion he and his fans have for football.
He is the first person to reach one billion followers across all social media platforms and he describes it as good but nut surprising.
In a recent interview with YouTube personality MrBeast, Ronaldo described the achievement as gratifying but admitted he wasn’t surprised.
The football star attributed his massive following to the global love for his career and the sport of football.
“It was good. A good achievement, but I wasn’t surprised, to be honest.
I know the passion that people have for me and for football as well. For the career I still have, I felt that passion, so it wasn’t a surprise. I feel happy, but in the same way, not surprised,” he concluded.
In September, Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first person to surpass 1 billion followers across all social media platforms.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his illustrious career.
With a massive following across Instagram (643m), Facebook (170m), X (113m), YouTube (60.7m), and other platforms, Ronaldo continues to break records both on and off the field.
