Triple respite has come the way of all minors arrested by the police during the #EndBadGovernance protest as President Bola Tinubu has ordered their immediate release.
Emphasising the balance between legal processes and humanitarian concerns, he also instructed that they be taken care of while a committee will also look into the circumstances surrounding their arrest.

According to him, the President also tasked the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs with ensuring that the minors get safely returned to their families and oversee their welfare.
A committee, led by the Ministry, will investigate the circumstances surrounding their arrest, detention and release.
He further directed that any infractions by law enforcement officials will result in disciplinary action.
