At a time afrobeats star, Davido, is warning Nigerians abroad not to return to their fatherland, saying the economy is in a shambles, BBNaija star, Tacha, has announced she is ‘japaing’ to the United Kingdom.
davido, in an interview in the US, had declared Nigeria a no-return zone, though the statement has attracted a lot of criticism.
The japa syndrome has, however, deepened in the country as challenges continue to mount.
While it permeates all strata, Tacha proves that celebrities are not left behind with the announcement of her plans to relocate to the United Kingdom.
She shared the news on her X handle, stating, “Relocating to the UK. So help me God.”
Tacha joins a growing number of Nigerian celebrities who have moved abroad in recent years, including stars like Wizkid, Genevieve Nnaji, and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, who have settled in countries such as the UK and the US.
In a similar move, singer Banky W recently revealed he and his family are relocating to the US for educational purposes.
