Indigenised rapper, Phyno, has said that his new album, titled ‘Full Time Job’, is a product of his personal experience.
Phyno, who, like Olamide, has been able to raise the bar for rap in Nigerian languages, says the album reflects the transformation he has passed through over the years.
In a statement on the new offering, Phyno says: “The title encapsulates the time, sacrifices, and sleepless nights that have shaped my journey as an artist.
“This album is a masterpiece that did not happen by chance. I have made music my Full Time Job.
“Every music I make is inspired by my daily experiences. Where I was in 2019 or 2021 isn’t where I am now.”
“Fans can look forward to exciting collaborations on the album, including a standout track featuring UK rapper ArrDee on Time of My Life.
The collaboration came to life in London, where both artists crafted the song together in the studio.
ArrDee was said to have expressed his excitement about working with Phyno on the single, noting how they naturally synced their styles according to the statement.
The statement also said “Full Time Job features 15 tracks that highlight Phyno’s lyrical prowess and innovative production.
“Known for his ability to seamlessly merge hip-hop with Afrobeats, this album is expected to captivate both long-time fans and new listeners alike.”
