Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa, has given a hint about how tough it was for her when she just got divorced.
She, however, said God saw her through the difficult time.
She married Maje Ayida, her longtime partner, in 2014 but the union was short-lived due to infidelity allegations in 2015, leading to their divorce in 2017.
She, however, has expressed gratitude to God for His unwavering support at a thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 20.
As her November 3 40th birthday approaches, she thanked Him for not judging her as the world does, particularly during difficult times.
Toke shared her experiences, including her divorce and heartbreaks that could have shattered her.
However, she credited God for seeing her through and keeping her heart together.
