Motivation, inspiration and humour were in high supply two Fridays ago when a senior journalist, Mr Akeem Lasisi, took some corps members through the principles of journalism.
It was like a crash course but all participants had a great day as they were inspired to explore digital media in a way that is ethics-compliant.
At the programme held at Great Value Classic School, Ibafo, Ogun State, Lasisi, who is the Publisher of Phenomenal.com.ng, taught the group the principles of news writing while they also shared their thoughts on the industry and their plans.
He explained how a good news story is constructed, starting from the title of the news to indicating the who, what, why, when, where and the how of the story.
The meeting ended with some good laughs and photo feast.
