Davido, Wizkid missing as Ayra Starr again battles Tyla in 2024 MTV Awards - Phenomenal

Nigerian superstars, Davido and Wizkid, are missing on the list of the 2024 MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) nomination list, but Ayra Starr is again in contest with South African songbird, Tyla.

While Ayra Starr tops the chart for Nigeria, Asake and Burna Boy are also in the race.

Starr is nominated for Best New Artiste, Best Afrobeats Act, Best African Act, and Best Push.

Tyla also stands out in the Best Afrobeats Act category, competing against heavyweights like Burna Boy, Tems, Rema, Asake, and Ayra Starr.
