As history was made on Sunday, September 15, when NNPCL began lifting petrol from Dangote Refinery, billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, is super excited.
The intimate friend of the founder of the mega refinery, Aliko Dangote, expressed his great feelings in an X post on Sunday, noting that fuel scarcity had become history in Nigeria.
No fewer than 300 trucks from the national oil firm arrived at the refinery, located in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State, to lift the first batch of petrol.
Reacting to the development via a post on his X handle, Otedola described the lifting of petrol from the Dangote refinery as a relief for Nigerians and commended President Bola Tinubu for making it a reality.
According to the businessman, the Dangote refinery will put an end to the incessant petrol queues in Nigeria.
He wrote, “Kudos to President Tinubu for making this a reality! Fuel queues are now a thing of the past as Dangote Refinery starts loading PMS today Sunday 15 September 2024… F.Ote
