Says, ‘If Nigerians don’t like you, nothing you do will be right in their sight’
Popular actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has once again given her view about the ongoing ‘End Bad Governance’ protest.
She believes the Tinubu government is not doing badly, saying statistics favoured him.
The actress expressed the opinion that what might be going against him is the natural hatred she believes some may have for him.
Before the nationwide protest began, shehad advised protesters to use other means to reach out to the government instead of a protest.
On the appointed day of the protest, August 1, 2024, the movie diva and APC politician took to her official Instagram profile to upload a photo of statistics indicating how things had improved in the country since Tinubu became president.
Tonto captioned the picture, stating that statistics do not lie and that everyone is working to make the country a better place.
She averred: “Statistics don’t lie: everyone is working to get this country to where we want it to be. One thing about Nigerians is that if they don’t like you, nothing you do will ever be good enough for them. Let’s not deny this glaring truth. Stay safe and make wise decisions always.”
