In spite of a tragedy that has struck his family, Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Francis Duru, keeps his spirit and faith strong.
He has just lost a 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi, but his reaction is that of one far from losing faith in God even as his love for the deceased still glows.
“I give you thanks, Lord,” he says in an IG post as he announces the tragedy in a post on Thursday: ‘My champ!! My lion… You fought like a lion… If this is the way He wants it ,so be it. I still judge you faithful… lfeanyi my champ….l will miss you son…. will forever love you….Rest in peace son…rest….I give you thanks, Lord!’
The son, who celebrated his birthday last December, would have turned 16 in a few months.
