Former robbery kingpin, Shina Rambo, has recalled how his wife and three children were bombed the day the police raided his home.
The notorious robber, who has now turned an evangelist, with the name Mathew Oluwanifise, said although he was around when the cops struck, they could not sight him due to his high ritual powers.
In an interview with seasoned broadcaster, Fasunle Makinde, on ‘Fresh FM’, Oluwanifise said the woman practically sacrificed her life for him because if she touched him at the moment, his powers would be neutralised and that would have been his end as the security operatives would have seen him.
“They killed my wife and my three children,” he stressed.
He too had, however, been destroying lives then and he continued ravaging more in the 1990s when he terrorised South-West states, especially the Lagos area.
The man, a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, who is now 67, narrated how policemen threw off their uniforms and ran for cover from any area he operated.
He said he and his gang wasted many.
But he now sees himself as the number one receiver of grace.
“I am the Saul whom God changed to Paul. I am the one who is supposed to be bathed with bullets now alive to tell the stories of the past. I am the one who is supposed to be in prison now visiting prisons to evangelise,” he said.
He has a wife and a child now, according to him.
