Chelsea have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid to sign Joao Felix on a permanent deal in the closing stage’s of the transfer market.
The 24-year-old attacker has already agreed personal terms with the Blues and is expected to re-sign for the club on a six-year contract.
Felix spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Chelsea but this time the move will be a permanent one.
Following the collapse of the Samu Omorodion deal, agent Jorge Mendes offered his client Felix to Chelsea. Talks went on for over a week but Chelsea have now finally reached an agreement with Atletico for the Portugal international.
Félix will travel and undergo medical in 24/48h before signing a six year deal valid until June 2030.
The contract will also include an option until 2031.
