Lagos State Police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has criticised up-and-coming singer, Ayo Maff, for his choice of words in his recent song, ‘Last Week’.
He brags in the first line of the song about taking Canadian Loud, an imported substance, on the first day of the week and informs his dealer that he ran out of the drug by Saturday.
SP Hundeyin expressed concerns about the lyrics in response to a widely shared video of the song.
He stated that if drug addicts had not developed the habit, half of the young people detained today would not be there.
He stated that consuming illegal narcotics might lead to criminal activity.
The PPRO wrote, “What does he do on Mondays and Saturdays?” Help me listen.
