Established female singer, Yemi Alade, has opened up on how she has been able to avoid been in a controversial matter in the industry. She spoke about this at a listening party for her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’, in Lagos.
The ‘Johnny’ singer remarked that she does not let people’s opinions affect her and so she decides to mind her business.
She stated, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much.
I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve. Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
