Luis de la Tuente-managed Spanish national team reigned su[reme on Saturday night as they beat England  to win the EURO Cup for the fourth time.
Mikel Oyarzabal’s late goal earned Spain the trophy as they won via 2-1, while England still have to wait for their major cup since their World Cup win at Wembley in 1966.
Spain controlled possession and applied pressure which resulted in Nico Williams’ opener in the 47th minute following Lamine Yamal’s excellent run and pass.
While  Harry Kane was substituted in the 61st minute  following a disappointing adventure up front, Cole Palmer emerged the latest England hero off the bench as his outside short levelled the game in the 73rd minute following an assist from Jude Bellingham.
Spain began the pressure on England, Jordan Pickford denied Lamine Yamal, with a superb stop on goal.
But , eventually, came Spain’s moment. came when Marc Cucurella’s cross was converted by Oyarzabal in the 86th minute of the match.
England thought they had levelled the game when Declan Rice headed Palmer’s corner hard but Unai Simon saved it. Marc Guehi yet nodded the ball towards the line, but Dani Olmo cleared it away.
The match ended 2-1 as Spain became the first team to claim four European Championships.
Meanshile, Lamine Yamal won best Young Player of the Tournament while Rodri won the player of the tournament
