Seasoned actor, Saidi Balogun, has cautioned online critics against forcing their choices on celebrities.
He weighs in on the trolling his colleague, Toyin Abrahams, is suffering and concludes that some are forcing their choices on stars.
Lately, controversy had erupted after Abrahams petitioned the police against a social media user who allegedly defamed her.
According to him, they too should be entitled to their own will and freedom.
He says in an IG post “You use police to arrest your neighbours for the most minor reasons; e reach celebrity turn, you say it’s bullying. Stop the emotional blackmail. Celebrities are humans, just like you. You are free to say what you like, right? Let celebrities be free to take whatever actions they want to protect their mental space. Freedom should not be selective. God bless.”
