The presidential race in the United States of America has become more dramatic as President Joe Biden has announced that he is dropping out of his reelection battle with Donald Trump.
The return of Trump into the ring, in spite of heavy controversies, has itself made a theatre of the battle.
But, on Sunday, after much pressure by forces who believe Biden’s age, energy and health are no more compatible with the responsibility and electoral fight, he announced his withdrawal.
He, however, reeled out his achievements, including economic revitalisation.
He noted in his letter published below: “While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”
