Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad has agreed to sign Belgian Arthur Theate French club, Rennes.
The club is ready to pay €18m for the deal.
On Wednesday July 3, the 24 years old defender, who played for Belgium at the ongoing EURO before they got eliminated, has completed all medical checkup and has been signed by Al Ittihad in the Saudi Arabia league.
Deal has been done also on player side and contract valid into June 2027
It was the first move by Ittihad’s new coach, Stefano Pioli, and it was a smart signing as other clubs were keen to get Theate — including West Ham.
Theate will join officially in upcoming days as medical was done in Paris on Wednesday.
