There is widespread hunger in South-East – Cubana Chief Priest

Popular socialist and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest,  has said that there is widespread hunger in the South-East.

Besides, he said, the level on insecurity in the area is so high that he had to move his business from the South-East to Lagos.

Cubana Chief priest made this known in a recent interview with BBC Igbo. According to him, insecurity in the South-Eastern region of Nigeria was the major reason why he decided to relocate.

He noted that some locals in the area were involved in aiding and abetting criminals.

“There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information. Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
