Amid the controversy surrounding the decision of BBNaija winner, Phyna, to walk away from a photo session with some students of the University of Lagos, the reality star may have taught those who care to know a big lesson in brand protection.
Many have accused her of arrogance and impatience, but the song she seems to be singing is that the fear of brand ambassadorship is the beginning of wisdom.
Explaining why she had to abandon the students midway at a function in the school, she says she saw them romancing a rival brand at the same venue, by taking photos with them.
She notes on X: “Concerning me walking away in that video that’s been making rounds, it’s not what y’all think it is. So we were snapping with a brand’s products I work with the opposite brand so it won’t be nice for me to show in a pic or hold the opposite brand….. thanks.”
