Popular cleric, Matthew Kukah, has urged Nigerians to learn the new national anthem.
Matthewm who is the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, noted that Nigerians who were told by their pastors that they would sing a new song should now learn the new national anthem.
On May 29, 2024, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signed the bill which saw the old National anthem brought back in Nigeria.
Kukah said at a recent event:
‘’For those of you whose pastors told you in January, the beginning of the year that by the grace of God you will sing a new song, now learn the national anthem.”
