Popular media personality, Reno Omokri, has spoken on the issue of depression and how to overcome it. Reno opined that when a person is depressed, they should try to take some time out in the bathroom and think about their life under the shower.
He advocated in a tweet: “When you are tempted to feel depressed, take off all your clothes. Then go into the shower and turn it on. Remain there for 10 minutes. Then imagine this fact: The amount of water that poured on you is not up to God’s love pouring down on you!
If all the oceans on Earth were turned into ink, and you were asked to use that ink to describe God’s love for you, you would finish the ink, and your job would not be complete. That is how much God loves you. When next depression rears its ugly head, think of that special Love of God and be mindful about life. Stop running the rat race.
“Even if you win a rat race, you are still a rat. The race in ‘human race’ means specie. It does mean competition. The day you stop competing is when you start completing your life. Create a life that makes you say thank God for today, and not just thank God it’s Friday!”
