For pretty star Tems, there is no rivalry with her equally reigning colleague, Ayra Starr. Rather, she admires her creative gut with the hope that they can eventually collaborate.
She expressed admiration for Starr, highlighting her hard work and dedication to the craft, during a recent interview with NPR.
According to her, Starr reminds her of herself, noting their similar work ethic and passion for music.
She gushed out: “I would like to give flowers to this young girl called Ayra Starr, we met years ago, and she reminds me so much of myself. She’s such a hardworking girl, and she deserves some flowers.”
Tems and Starr appear to be givig the likes of Tiwa Savage, Teni and Simi more than a run for their talent as they continue to break new grounds especially internationally.
As a proof of this, superstar Rihanna has expressed her desire to work with both of them.
