Atiku speaks on his visit to Buhari

Atiku should speak up on his state of health

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  during the last election, Atiku Abubakar, has given a hint on why he visited former President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina on Saturday.

Atiku had also recently visited former Heads of State Ibrahim Babangida and Abdusalami Abubakar.

This is as he has given the indication that he will recontest in 2027.

Speaking on his visit to Buhari, however, he described the adventure as a homage.

He said: “My essence of coming to Katsina was to pay sallah homage to the former President Buhari and the emir of Daura.”

“I also condoled with His royal Highness the emir of Katsina, over the death of his son and the family of late Lawal Kaita over the death of his wife,” he said.

The former vice president was also at the family house of late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua , where he paid homage to the mother of the late President, Hajiya Dada.
