Popular comedian and actor, Bovi has stylishly spoken about how disappointed he is for not being able to win any award at the AMVCA after several nominations in different years.
Bovi was nominated for the Best Writing TV series for ‘Visa on Arrival’ but lost to Mona Ombogo.
The comedian noted that despite receiving seven nominations, including 4 individual ones, he had yet to win.
Bovi however appears not to be bitter but more determined as he congratulated the winners, acknowledging their deserving victories.
He remains optimistic, aiming to win ‘10 awards’ by the 20th anniversary of AMVCA.
He said in an IG post (STET): “Amvca 10. All my nominations since inception -7. Individual nominations- 4. Wins- 0. Expected wins before #amvca20 – 10. Congrats to all the winners from last night. Very deserving.”
