Amid sharp criticism by many observers, Joseph Aloba, father of the late artiste, Mohbad, has explained the reason he opened a GoFundme account for the latter.
Many people believe he is reaping off the son’s case, with some seeing it as obscene especially as MohBad’s body is still in the morgue – due to the lingering investigation.
Aloba, however, insists he needs the money to fight for justice for the son.
He states in a video on the project:
“Good day Nigerians. Thank you for your support and your constant clamour of justice for my son.
Please, I beg you all the GoFundme that I asked them to open on my behalf and my Access bank account is for to seek justice for Mohbad. Please, kindly assist us financially. That is why I opened it with the Aloba name. That is my plea, that you all help us.”
Among other controversial moves, Aloba has released songs recently, he has been spotted wearing MohBad’s dresses while he has been at the centre of the messy family issues occasioned by the artiste’s death.
