A video circulating online has shown how a security aide of Governor Seyi Makinde dared suspected members of the Yoruba Nations who invaded the Government Secretariat, Ibadan, on Saturday.

The Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Security, CP Sunday Odukoya (retd.), stood firm and faced the invaders’ threat, as king them to shoot him if they wanted.

He said,  “Shoot me, don’t shoot police officers because I was the one that called them. So, you don’t need to confront them. They came here to do their official duties, just shoot me. You invaded this place. Who did you take permission from? I was talking to you, and you are talking to another person.

“This is Governor’s Office. You don’t have the right to just come in without any invitation. Can you just come to the Governor’s Office without an invitation? It is not done!”

Meanwhile, arrests have been made, including nine of the suspects nabbed by the military.
