Popular singer, Rudeboy, has joined thousands of Nigerians to mourn the death of veteran actor, Mr Ibu.
It was a sad one for the entertainment industry after the death of the popular humourist as announced on Saturday, March 2.
Rudeboy, one half of the Psquare band, who was at the hospital when Mr Ibu was unwell, expressed his sadness that the actor died despite spending many weeks with him to ensure his well-being.
He questioned: ‘God, why’, claiming that there was truly nothing in life.
He wrote: “I slept in the hospital with you for several weeks just to be there with you and all .. and you still left.
“God why??
“#mribu. Aswear forget!!!
”Nothing dey for this life.”
Meanwhile, a video has emerged in which Ibu also passionately praised Rudeboy over the role he played in his battle against ill health.
In the video said to have been recorded in the last days of Ibu’s life, he said, based on how Rudeboy had incredibly supported him, he was sure the musician would make heaven where they were bound to meet.”
