The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf.
It said the Appeal Court was wrong to have nullified part of his votes.
According to the lead justice, the ballot papers are valid.
Besides, it said the Appeal Court should not have bothered itself with pre-election matters.
Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party had challenged the decision of the lower court which nullified his election and declared Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress winner of the election.
