Toluyemi Osisanya, daughter of recently deceased actor, Yemi Adeyemi, aka Suara, has revisited the rumour that he had an affair with acclaimed actress, Sola Sobowale, when they were acting in old TV series, Superstory.
Adeyemi was the notorious protagonist Suara with Adebowale being the equally nasty Toyin Tomato in it.
Rumours then rented the air that they both dated.
But said such were baseless gossips, noting that neither his father nor Sobowale was that kind of actors.
In an interview in SUNDAY PUNCH, Osisanya noted:
“Just as my dad would say, let people say whatever they want to say with their mouth. He said himself that he wasn’t having any affair with Sola Sobowale; my father wasn’t going to do that. Also, Aunty Sola Sobowale wasn’t someone like that to date a fellow actor. She had a family of her own while my dad had his family. Even though he’s a polygamist, I’ve never heard any story of him having a relationship with a fellow actor on the same set. So, we didn’t bother ourselves about it. There were more important things to bother about not people who were spreading rumours about what was not happening.”
