This is not a time to play on words as far as the story of inspiring artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad is concerned.
The singer died young – too young at the age of 27 when his star was just taking shape.
No wonder, he has continued to garner love and sympathy in death.
Ironically, his friend-turned-foe too, aka Primeboy, is also facing a tough time.
So, even if you cannot help him, you need not play on puns about his life.
Yet, based on disclosures being made by the police, there can be a cause to mutter that that the ‘prime boy’ has become a prime suspect.
According to Idowu Omohunwa, Lagos State Police Commissioner, there is a link between the fight Primeboy engaged MohBad in and his eventual death.
That sounds like a serious trouble, really.
This, according to him, is what led to the late singer’s illness – which in turn led him into the terrible hands of the auxiliary nurse who mal-injected him.
The Lagos State Police on Friday confirmed that there was a physical altercation between Mohbad and the childhood friend, PrimeBoy, in Ikorodu, which eventually led to Mohbad’s death due to injuries he suffered during the fight.
This disclosure came during a press conference by the Lagos Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, as he announced the names of those apprehended in connection with the singer’s demise.
According to Owohunwa, PrimeBoy, who is among the suspects, attended Mohbad’s show in Ikorodu on September 10, 2023, accompanied by the singer.
“At the end of the show, Mohbad and Ibrahim (Primeboy) were engaged in a violent fight during which Mohbad was injured. The management of the injury subsequently resulted in his death, he is being treated as a suspect,” he said.
For the guy who turned himself in after he was dcelared wanted by the police, the Primeboy may indeed have become the prime suspect.
