Digital Nigeria Conference: Startups hold North-West road show in Kano 

Startups in North-West have organized a road walk in Kano on Wednesday to sensitize residents ahead of the 2023 Digital Nigeria International Conference.

The road walk was led by the Coordinator of Arewa Startup, Mr Ahmad Idris, who  said it was a dynamic and engaging event that served as a pre-event to the main conference.

He added that it was designed to bring the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship directly to communities in the region.

Idris said that the annual event was organized by the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, championed by NITDA.

The coordinator further said that the programme was also organized to create awareness to the startups and other key players in the industry.

He explained that about 80 startups in the region participated in the exercise including software engineers, students, lecturers, entrepreneurs and tech. companies.

Idris said that 12 startups would take part in the pitch competition session, out of which six of them would be selected by a panel of Judges.

He said that they would be invited to apply for Digital Nigeria International Conference where they can go on stage to make a presentation.

‘Two Participants, Fahad Adam, founder of Kasuwar Kano E-commerce and Ahmad Bako, founder of ESDIAC-calling, appreciated the ministry and NITDA for giving them opportunity the to showcase their talents.
