Mr Richard Romanus, the Convener, US4US Movement, has described President Bola Tinubu’s belief in youths’ ingenuity as “impeccable.”
He made the assertion during an engagement with journalists in Calabar on Tuesday.
He said that the movement is happy with the president’s appointment of young Nigerians into various high-profile positions.
According to him, the appointments reflect the president’s love and belief in the potential of young Nigerians.
He added that “President Bola Tinubu’s deliberate actions of empowering young people is intentional in setting the stage for the next generation of leaders to emerge.
“However, we are not surprised about this act of magnanimity toward the youths, as Tinubu holds the record as the leader that has discovered and nurtured the highest number of young people into greatness.
“We are particularly grateful for the appointment of 37 years old Dr Jamila Adamu and Mr Ayodele Olawande as Minister of Youths, and Minister of State for Youths, and the preferential attention given to Ministry of Youths.
“Looking at the statistics of young people in this administration, it is safe to say that the president is leaving no stone unturned toward harnessing youths’ potential.”
Romanus, therefore, urged young people to reciprocate the president’s gesture by supporting government’s programmes, irrespective of their political affiliations and ethnicity
