Popular artiste, Paul Okoye, has described Governor Hope Uzodinma of Io State as hopeless after the latter promised citizens he would secure jobs for them outside Nigeria.
Uzodinma said during a campaign that he would get the people some 4,000 jobs in Europe and Canada by December – after the coming election.
The assertion has upset many Nigerians who believe governments should create jobs in the country.
Uzodinma said: ‘’I have gone further to negotiate with the European Union government and Canadian government. They are sending us special areas of skill which our youths will also learn and by December this year, 4000 Imo youths will be employed in Europe.’ Once the employment letter drops, the governor will pay for your air ticket.
