Like Tinubu, Bosun Tunji shuns agbada at their maiden FEC

President Bola Tinubu exuded a simple appearance on Monday when he chaired the first Federal Executive Council of his administration.

He spotted a long buba and sokoto, as against the more elaborate agbada that the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and many of the ministers wore.

It can be interpreted that he aimed to be smart and businesslike with the outfit.

Interestingly, his almost-foe-turned-friend, Bosun Tijani, who is the Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, also attended the meeting light as he also put on a similar dress.

Bosun had, some years back, criticised some political office holders brutally – including Tinubu.

The controversy that his nomination raised has, however, died down as both now find themselves paddling the same rickety canoe that Nigeria has become, at least based on the state of the economy.

In all, the FEC members radiated a sense of commitment to work, hoping that this will transform into a breakthrough for the nation.
