Slender actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina, got another opportunity to prove herself in Femi Adebayo’s film, JAGUNJAGUN, which is currently making waves on Netflix. She is Iroyinogunkiitan (roughly meaning war-reports-never-end). That is the ‘daughter’ of the protagonist, Ogundiji, the bloody war monger played by Adebayo himself. There is a powerful twist to Iroyinogunkiitan’s role, as she ends up being revealed as an unwilling demon in a mask.
In the course of helping her father to take care of warriors learning the act from him, she dramatically falls in love with Gbotija – played by Lateef Adedimeji. Fierce wars take place almost every hour but both manage to play romance intermittently.
At a point, Iroyinogunkiitan submits herself to him for what promises to be an intercourse feast. She removes her top, with viewers seeing clearly and squarley that she has no bras on. The movie director, however, manages the scene in a way that it is only Gbotija that arguably sees her chest and her natural apples. She is made to back the audience!
Followers of recent happenings in Nollywood will note that this is different from what are presented in Kunle Afolayan’s ANIKULAPO and Chichi Nwora’s SHANTY TOWN, where Olori Arolake, played by Bimbo Ademoye; and Shalewa, played by Nancy Isime, bare it all – although it has been said – or argued – that the apples on display are not those of the actresses but products of film tricks.
