The musician with the real name, Charles Chibuezechukwu, just acted contrary to what many do in this part of the world: he revealed his age is well above what is believed, especially what is circulating online.
Some pages online describe the artiste as a 21 year old; but he has denied it claiming that he will be 25 years of age this month.
Crayon noted in an interview with ‘Hip TV’ that the majority of information on the Internet was fake.
He added that he started schooling at a young age and completed high school early, which may have led to the incorrect age information.
Crayon said:
“What you see on Wikipedia, sometimes, are not accurate.
For me, I started schooling at a very young age and I finished my secondary school very young. So, all of that [alleged age] is just what you see on the internet mehn.
“I’m 24, I’m going 25 in July. It’s crazy like sometimes you see some things that are not matching.”
During the interview, Crayon also revealed that he was starstruck the first time he met Wizkid at Don Jazzy’s birthday in 2018.
