A now sober daring skit maker, Trinity Guh, has ‘appreciated’ the role that Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, has so far played in his arrest.
The police invited him after a minor was spotted in one of his prank videos, in a dialogue that suggests sexual abuse.
The police in Ibadan also invited the child’s parents, saying they would be charged to court alongside the artist.
As if a truce is in the offing, Trinity has, however, thanked all who have stood by him, while specifically commending Adejobi for his fatherly role
The message is relayed in a video Trinity shared online:
“I would like to use this opportunity to appreciate everyone who has been calling and showing concerns about the misconceptions about my works and my person.
“I would equally love to show my appreciation to my fans around the world, my colleagues and the Nigeria police, most especially @adejobimuyiwa Mr ADEJOBI OLUMUYIWA for his fatherly roles for calling my attention to the areas I needed to work on and amend. Your efforts in safeguarding the nation is truly inspiring and appreciated. May Almighty God bless everyone!

After seeing the allegedly offensive video, Adejobi had declared, “This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged to court.
We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!”
