The assertion that there is no permanent friend or enemy but permanent interest is playing out in Lagos as once estranged associate of President Bola Tinubu, Akinwunmi Ambode, seems to be back in Tinubu’s political family.
Tinubu and other establishment in Lagos denied Akinwunmi second term as governor, thus eventually creating a gulf.
But, apart from the fact that Governor Sanwo-Olu attended Ambode’s 60th birthday days ago, the latter, incumbent and Babatunde Fashola, who was Ambode’s predecessor, Thursday met for the first time after their tenure and since assumption to office.
The Chief Press Secretary CPS to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile disclosed this in his official Twitter handle.
The trio, the tweet indicated met at the Lagos House, Marina for the first time in over four years at a reception organized by Governor Sanwo-Olu in honour of President Bola Tinubu who is presently in Lagos to mark Eid-el-Kabir celebration still underway.
