Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, expressed what many would describe as a taboo on Friday.
He said he would have slapped his predecessor, Rabiu Kwakwanso, if he had met him when both were in the Aso Villa to meet President Bola Tinubu.
He is angry over the demolition of buildings by his successor, Abba Yusuf, who is Kwakwanso’s man.
Ganduje and Kwankwanso have been at loggerheads since about eight years when the first took over from the latter.
So angry is Ganduje that he told journalists that if he had met him in the Villa, he would have slapped him.
It is great that they did not set eyes on each other because Kwakwanso was also in the power house on Friday.
What would have happened is he slapped him?
Would Kwakwanso have replied accordingly, thus doubling the abomination?
How would their security aides have responded – and Aso security guys too?
And their host, Tinubu, how would he have reacted?
Anyway, the protocol people in the Aso Rock should be commended for ensuring they did not meet.
For Ganduje, was he not too exuberant with the outburst?
