President Bola Tinubu received another series of presidential support on Thursday when former Military Head of State, Abdusalami Abubakar, visited him in the Aso Villa.
This is as former President Olusegun Obasanjo continues to keep his distance from Tinubu.
Apart from the fact that Obasanjo has kept criticising Tinubu’s victory, he did not attend his inauguration on May 29, 2023.
He is in support of the Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
Tinubu, howecer, has more consolation as other former leaders such as Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Babangida and Goodluck Jonathan have expressed support for him.
Jonathan indeed also visited him a few days ago.
