Sensational artiste, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, widely known as Spyro, has said that he cannot work with street act, Portable.
According to Spyro in a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, Portable is the only artiste with whom he will never collaborate with.
He mentioned their dissimilar musical tastes as the key cause.
Do2tun, the show’s host, posed the question to the fast-rising singer, “Who’s that artiste you can’t do music with?”
Then he explained:
“Not because I have an issue with him but because our paths just don’t cross. Our kind of music don’t align. He won’t be able to deliver the kind of music I will write for him because it’s not his style,” he said.
When asked if he thinks Portable is a good singer, Spyro stated, “I think Portable is good. It’s intentional when people do the type of music Portable does.”The latter has however fired back, saying Spyro does not have the weight he is projecting (stet):
“Spyro ‘Who’s Your Guy’, you never blow na. You know how many hits I have?
You know how many shows I’ve performed?
You know how many features I have?
You wey na only one song you get and you song can’t be mimed. I can sing love song; all song and pattern.”
Sharing the video on Instagram, he added:
“Them won disgrace me Thank God Say Man No Be God, ZAZUU can’t you see am shining, Akoi Grace Wey No Dey Disgrace. Aparo You never make am you dey form Ajebo, IKA OF AFRICA, IKA Talk IKA Understand.”
