Yeni Kuti, daughter of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has recalled the largeness of his father’s house – recalling he had 27 wives after her mum.
This she did as she stated her stance when it comes to cheating in a relationship or in a marriage.
The dancer, in a recent Interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, stated that she could never leave her husband because he cheated on her.
She gave examples, pointing out that her mother stayed in her marriage and that her late father had 27 wives.
But she made it clear that she was not pressuring anyone to adopt her viewpoint.
“I won’t leave my husband if he’s cheating. That’s me.
“You can leave your own husband if he’s cheating; that’s you. Don’t judge me; I’m not judging you.
My father had 27 wives; my mother didn’t go.
It’s me who will now come and go because of one girl. It cannot happen.”
