Nigeria may currently be having up to four actors in the morgue due to the number of deaths that Nollywood has witnessed in the past few days.
Hours after the deaths of popular filmmakers Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi were, for instance, announced aAnother actor has been reported dead.
He was Chikezie Uwazie, said to have died after undergoing brain surgery in the United States. His death was announced by colleague, Obey Etok, via her Instagram page on Sunday.
She wrote, “I can’t imagine I’m posting this. Chikezie Uwazie goneeeee. After a 2nd brain surgery. Gini na emezi. I’m so shocked to get this news this evening. Just got this from our IMSU alumni platform.
“I thought you told me you were going to the States for greener pastures. You promised to come back some years back but I didn’t see you.

This sad news comes days after two other ace actors Murphy Afolabi and Saint Obi, were also reported dead.
