The Nigeria President-elect, Send. Bola Tinubu, is capable of providing good governance, considering his antecedent as a former Governor of Lagos State.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Accord Governorship candidate in Oyo State, made this assertions in a statement congratulating Tinubu on his victory at the Feb. 25 presidential election.
“We expect good governance, which we know Tinubu is capable of providing, considering his antecedent as former Governor of Lagos State and one of those who fought for the democracy we are enjoying today,” Adelabu said.
He enjoined the president- elect to use the opportunity of his victory to reconcile the different sections of the country, which have been fractioned by the activities leading to the election.

He described Tinubu’s victory as “sweet and deserving”, having worked assiduously to achieve victory in the hard fought electoral battle.
“With this victory Nigeria can only be better for it. Because of his antecedent as an unrepentant democrat, we are convinced that Nigeria will soon take its rightful place in the comity of nation.
“This is the first time in the history of our nation that a real dye-in-the-wool democrat will be taken up the mantle of leadership.
Also, the Oyo State Chapter of Jagaban Army, said that Tinubu’s victory was a welcome development for all Nigerians, assuring that a new dawn has come to the country.

Brigade Commander, Banji .A. Banji, also commended the National Youth Leader of APC, Dayo Israel, for his foresight in establishing the APC National Youth Wing Campaign Council.
Banji said that the youth wing campaign council played great complementary role in the efforts that have now culminated in the victory of Tinubu.
He expressed, the group’s irrevocable loyalty and commitment to the progressive ideals of the National Youth leader.
“The unwavering commitment of the leadership and members of Oyo Brigade through its diligent implementation of the deliver-your-street campaign helped a lot.
“The commitment, as well as other tactical and strategic campaign moves, was a major contributory factor to Tinubu’s victory in Oyo State,” Banji said.
He urged Nigerians to close rank and support the incoming administration of Tinubu and Shettima.
