All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has condoled with the people of Katsina State over the Thursday’s terrorist ambush in the Kankara Local Government Area of the state which led to the death of 41 persons while two were injured.
While promising that the families of the deceased would be supported, Tinubu vowed that the killers would be brought to book.
He also promised that his government would work for the progress and prosperity of the country if elected.
He spoke during the party’s campaign rally held Daura on Monday, with President Muhammadu Buhari campaigning for him at the event.
According to Buhari, Tinubu has the experience and courage to move Nigeria forward.
On the attack, Tinubu said, “The killers will pay their price. They have committed a crime not prescribed by any faith. They will not win. The wicked shall perish. We will deal with them. No way they will go scot-free. Whether they derive satisfaction from the killing or not, we are bold, courageous, and believe in God. They are evil. We will defeat them. We will eliminate them.”
