– Reigning champions PSG have been dumped out of the Coupe de France after coming undone against a spirited Marseille side at the Stade Velodrome.

– Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring for the hosts on the half-hour mark, converting from the penalty spot following a clumsy foul from Sergio Ramos.

– However, it was Ramos who would make amends for his mistake, powering a header in from a corner just seconds before the half-time break to get PSG back in the tie.

– Marseille retook the lead through Ruslan Malinovsky, with the Ukrainian firing an absolute thunderbolt of a shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma to leave PSG with the need to respond once again.

– Ramos thought he had rescued the game for PSG, heading the ball in once again in second half stoppage time this time but the goal was immediately ruled out for offside.
